We are deep into the heart of summer, and we hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful, sunny days that we have been blessed with this year. There has been much rain, but there has also been much sun and the majority opinion at The Gift Designers is that it has been glorious! One of our favourite ways to enjoy the summer is a good get together by the grill and what better meat to grill up than some good Alberta beef.

We live in Alberta and so therefore we know that our beef is amongst the best in the world. The novelty of this fact can be easily taken for granted but the truth is that our beef is actually pretty special and here are some key reasons why Alberta beef is set apart!

Our geography and climate location offer a lot of fertile grassland and valleys for pasture AND our winter chinooks allow for pasturing during winter.

Unlike other major cattle producers, Alberta’s cattle are mostly grass-fed and grain-finished which results in rich taste, even fat distribution, and a consistent quality.

Alberta is also home to wagyu producers where the beef is so good that it actually rivals that of Kobe Beef in Japan!

Lastly, our Farmers are well-learned and work hard to keep up with evolving, ever-changing technology and climate issues to ensure that Alberta continues to produce the best beef!

We say all this to say that WE LOVE LOCAL. WE LOVE GRILLIN’. WE LOVE ALBERTA BEEF.
