While we encourage random acts of kindness and celebrating your wonderful neighbours regularly, it is awesome to see that Neighbours' Day is coming up on May 28th! Knowing you have people who you can count on is priceless. While being able to call on your family and friends is a beautiful thing, I think it’s important to give a shout out to the neighbours who make life extra special. We encourage you to take some time over the next week and think about how you can take care for your friends next door. Does someone need a hand taking care of their yard? Could you be an encouragement by dropping off some baking or a nice note? Have you considered taking some time to catch up in the driveway or around a firepit? Whether it’s lending tools, sharing baking ingredients, picking up groceries for people who are isolated, sending a gift, or offering a sympathetic ear; we know that kindness makes a community stronger. So we are cheering you on, whether you’re saying thank you to an already great neighbour, or reaching out to build a relationship with a new neighbour.
