At check out, the shipping calendar will advise you of our next available delivery / pick up date. We apologize that we are unable to extend the quick turnaround time with which you may be accustomed.

Sympathy gift baskets are possibly the most difficult to choose. What can we possibly say or do to make things better?   The reality is that during a time of grief all you can do is let your friends, family and associates know that you are thinking about them.

Local grief counselor Kati Hatch has kindly provided us with a few tips related to helping friends during their time of grief.   Her guidance during times of grief is that it is good to remember to honor the person who is no longer with us.   The relationship is very different, but it is not over.  She advises that self-care during this time is very important, and with a smile, says “chocolate has great healing properties”.

Alberta Health Services has an excellent, and free, grief program.   Link to the Program or contact them by phone  (403) 955-8011

Kati also recommends any books by Patrice Karst, and specifically The Invisible String (great for young & old).  We will have this book and others available online in the near future.
