Here we go! I hope that you’ve got your back-to-school shopping well on its way. I know I had wide-eyes the other day when I cut through my friend’s boot room to see two stacks of 5 shoe boxes. Her 5 children have their gym and indoor shoes purchased and ready for this school year – it was an impressive sight! I’m sure that many families are ready to welcome back the routine that the school year offers. I know that students are ready to be re-united with their friends and to get going on fall sports and activities. On the radio this morning a teen was interviewed who expressed nervousness about attending a new school and my heart went out to them. As many of you know I split my work time between a school and The Gift Designers. I have such a desire to see all students experience belonging, support, and connectedness in their school. I’m cheering for you students and just hoping that your year is amazing! One day at a time people, gather your squad and do this crazy thing called life together!
