National Trail Mix Day is August 31st. I went looking for fresh new takes on Trail Mix and my Google search did not disapoint!! Take a look at https://www.freshoffthegrid.com/trail-mix-recipes/ to “mix” up your selection of treats for the trail or even your next road trip.  
I typically avoid raisins but adore any kind of snack that includes cereal so I think I’ll start with this recipe on my Trail Mix experimentation. I’ll report back once I’ve enjoyed my taste test!

I love hiking, kayaking, camping and just getting outside to enjoy the sunshine but I think this is a must try for me. It looks like a really fun family event and perhaps it will deliver a kick of adrenaline to your summer.
