For years now Noreen (Chief Designer) and I have enjoyed summer campfires together. On top of just being a fantastic time to share stories and enjoy nature, we've always had a selection of tasty treats. Our s'more endeavours started with the classic graham cracker, average chocolate, and standard marshmallow and have evolved steadily over the years. 

Our initial departure from the classic involved Handmade gourmet vanilla marshmallows. Then we experimented with higher end chocolates often featuring varieties of my preferred dark chocolate bars. 

Next we started switching up the cookies. My first memory of this change was a blueberry shortbread type cookie. We've incorporated vegan marshmallows, gluten free biscuits, and SOOOO many flavours of chocolates. 

Our campfire stories and star watching was punctuated with contented sighs and many proclamations on which blend of items was the best combo. I doubt I'll ever return to the classic s'more.

• Roasted Berry S'more on mini waffles (I've already upgraded this recipe in my mind to use Stroopwafels)
