Ok so maybe your kid is not in soccer but perhaps volleyball, football, baseball, gymnastics, art class, violin lessons, piano lessons, lacrosse practice, or dance. The list goes on and on and on. Today we choose to honour the proverbial soccer moms – that is to say the moms that tirelessly cart their kiddos around so that they can enjoy their extracurriculars. They make it look so easy but is it actually? My guess is probably not.

The sheer aptitude required to combine the constant necessity to provide encouragement, coaching, transportation, cleaning services (for those dirty uniforms), and then still do all the mom stuff at home? Its absolutely astounding. We have some pretty stellar ladies here at TGD so beautifully support their children in their interests and we are in constant awe of them. We just don’t know how they do it.

Let’s take a moment to think about the ladies in our lives that are basically superwomen. There is opportunity to show them your love, support, and admiration for all that they do, and this is why we are here. We are here to support, encourage and build our communities  by helping you to foster and strengthen relationships. Just think about how much her face would light up when presented with a gift that would allow her to indulge and spend a few precious moments alone, in the bath, enjoying the quiet, with a good read and a few treats! Or maybe just a little something to say, “You’re Amazing”, because she truly is. Celebrate mothers all month long, they truly deserve it so again, CHEERS TO THE SOCCER MOMS!!!
