If you’re like me, when you see a contest on social media, you have the usual people that you tag and then cross your fingers that your name is drawn. Sometimes these contests are based on how many times you share a link or how many people you tag. I’m so glad our Thanksgiving Hamper is not that style of contest! This isn’t about popularity or liking a post it’s about nominating someone to be blessed in an extra special way this Thanksgiving. This hamper has been one of the best traditions we have maintained over our 20 years in business!
I encourage you to take a minute and think through the various groups in your life; be it work, family, neighbours, or friends, and ponder whether someone in one of those circles could use some encouragement or extra support this year. 
I sent a text the other day to my circle of friends asking if they’d be willing to partner with me in supporting someone in need. I ended the text by saying that if this vision of mine worked out and we hit the goal I had in mind then we could surprise and be a blessing to this person. If things didn’t work out and the goal wasn’t achieved at least I could have peace knowing that I made the need known and tried to help. I knew I couldn’t meet their need on my own but together it could be possible! There were beautiful responses to my text and most people were so appreciative of the opportunity being made known. AND our goal was achieved - it's been so beautiful to see it all come together! 
Send in your nominations and let us partner with you to support someone in need! Additionally, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what you can do to bless and encourage someone in your life. Perhaps it’s as simple as a social media nomination, sending a text, or adding a couple seats to your Thanksgiving table.
