When I think about kindness I often think about how I love others. Do I love well? Do I set a standard or am I an example of what kindness or love looks like to others? Am I impacting my community?

Being nice is great and anyone can be nice.  Even the most evil people can be considered nice by those in their circle or within their sphere of influence. The truth is this; it is the point of connection that defines kindness, and it is at the point of connection that we can make a difference for the good.

So I would encourage us to be intentional in making those connections, especially with one another. Seek to understand and then relate with thoughtful compassion and of course, kindness.

One of the ways The Gift Designers remains connected is by supporting other local, small businesses. We love to #supportlocal and what better way to do so than through the community building action of Paying it Forward. This year, the team here at The Gift Designers endeavours to be intentional in extending acts of kindness within our community in the hope of creating a significant impact that will reach even beyond our city. One of the ways we can do this is by have you join our Pay it Forward campaign. If you are joining as an organization, we will profile the efforts of your teams and share with the world both on our website and all of our social media platforms, to inspire other organizations to join. We will also share resources, stories, and opportunities to keep you on top off your game!
